Bathroom Update

Remember my frustration with the bathroom situation at my new job? No privacy and tight quarters was creating an inability for me to perform. Well, I’ve happened upon another option for me. And it’s great. An answer to my prayers!!

This building has a basement, my floor and then the top floor. In the stairwell there is a landing between each floor. Upstairs from me is a men’s bathroom being used for storage and downstairs from me is a women’s bathroom. Up til now this women’s bathroom is where the women went to smoke, especially if it was cold or raining.

There is a huge exhaust fan in this bathroom. It’s very loud and apparently has a lot of exhausting powers, based on the fact that they could smoke in there. No one ever goes to the bathroom in there unless they just happen to be on their way out of the building and don’t want to take a detour to the bathroom on our floor.

I can go down there and do my business in peace and privacy. The huge fan offers plenty of noise to break the silence, not to mention it’s powers of exhaustion and there’s even some spray to cover the smell of “smoke”. Now I don’t go there all the time. Only in case of emergency. I don’t want people to see me use that bathroom regularly and then get some ideas themselves.
