We are leaving for the beach on July 11th. I am trying to gather up everything we need, or should I say want, to take with us. I mean, who needs a laptop at the beach? Me. I might need to charge my mp3 player, right? Or check my Facebook farm. Or keep up with my blogger peeps.
So here’s my dilemma. I need some good reading material to take with me. I love to read and I can blow through a book especially if I have hours of time lying in the sun. So I need suggestions!! Books? Authors? Nothing trashy please. I’m going to head to the library at lunch and see what I can find. Wish me luck!!

I don't know if you've checked my blog from last week, but I posted about a great author, Karen Kingsbury. You know how I don't love to read very much, but I finished one of her books that I picked up at lunch Friday by 0800 on Saturday!
She's a Christian author with some fantastic books! Other than that, you have read most of the books I love.
I don't know what you like to read, but I love Nicholas Sparks! I also recently read "The Secret Lives of Bees" and it was great. I saw "My Sister's Keeper" and loved it, but wished I would have read the book first. =) lots of luck!
Try Janet Evanovich...she writes murder mysteries about a bail bonds woman and they are also funny!!! She has a ton of books and they are done in a number series...
