Hubby turned me on to banana peppers. Every now and then when I would get a Subway sub, I would get a few jalapeño peppers on it. It never failed, after a few of those, my mouth would be HOT. I ended up pulling a bunch of them off. Then Hubby told me about the banana peppers. They are hot but not as hot at jalapeños. Yay!!! Every now and then I get this craving for a turkey sub with pepper jack cheese, mayo, onion and banana peppers. It is so good.
I just wish you could see me sitting here eating my sub with the subway napkins formed into a bib dangling from the front of my white shirt. Crumbs from the toasted bread falling where they may. Well, I can’t spill on my shirt. How tacky would that be? The last time I got one of my favorite subs, I just so happened to be wearing an off white top and dropped a banana pepper on it. FYI: these do leave a yellow stain on your clothes. I mean, it came out, but I had a yellow blob on my top the rest of the day.
I wonder if I could find a nice bib to keep in my desk at work so that I don’t have to worry about spills. If I do, I will make it a point to bring a camera to have someone take a picture of me in my bib.
Clarification: I was not sitting IN Subway with my bib. I was sitting at my desk WITH MY DOOR SHUT!!

Strangely enough I BELIEVE you would wear a bib! I can see you now sitting at SubWay eating your messy sandwich, smiling pretty as you please with your bib on!
I love banana peppers, but they always seem to put WAY too many on my subs for some reason. I end up picking half of them off or I can't taste my sandwich!
HAHA!!!! I totally pictured you AT Subway with your napkin bib on! Better it was only in your office. I think I still have some bigger bibs from Little Hauss if you want me to dig them out?? OH, better yet, you should grab some from the crableg places - don't they always give 'em to you at restaurants when you get crablegs??
