I will be gone Monday thru Thursday of next week. I have to go to Medicaid training in Abingdon. There is a training center in Roanoke, but since I'm WAY up here in Pulaski, I have to go in the other direction. Roanoke is closer to my house than Abingdon.
And of course they give you a car to drive. The training starts at 9. This means I have to be in Pulaski before 7:30 and hook up with the other girl to get into our social services car and travel on to Abingdon. This means I have to leave my house a little before 7. And the training isn't over until 4, which means I won't be getting home until after 6. I am not happy about this.
Then 2 weeks later, 4/21 - 4/23 I will be back in Abingdon for system training.
We need to get ourselves moved on up here. All this driving is time consuming. Especially when I drive up here to work on Wednesday, drive home after work, turn around and drive back up here with Hubby and Tiny for church, turn around and drive back home after church. That's just ridiculous!!

Maybe you should look at just staying up there on Wednesday's? You could go to his parents' house or have a quiet dinner to yourself. That would save you from driving all the way home just to turn back around!!
You should have politely told them that you were closer to Roanoke...then we could have sneaked in a lunch!!! I'm being selfish!
Oh, and you should just stay up in Pulaski on Wed and meet the fam for Church - or would that be too long of a lull inbetween?
