Everything was rolling along pretty smoothly until about 3:45. I got a call from Tiny's daycare that he has a fever. Again. So I had to leave work an hour early during my first week at the new job to pick him up. I felt terrible having to ask to leave, but what can you do? So my supervisor did offer to let me come in early and take a shorter lunch on Friday to make up the time. That was nice.
Did I mention that Friday is payday? The 1st and the 15th. Oh, did I also mention that I will have to wait til the 15th to get paid. I will get paid next week for the very few hours of vacation that I have left from the pokey. But I will really be going 3 weeks without a paycheck. My first day was supposed to be on the first day of the pay cycle, but I guess someone got their dates mixed up. Oops. So, that is kind of crumby, but what can I do?
