I think I am a very organized person. Aren’t I? I make lists. I keep my desk arranged in a certain way. Everything has a certain place. I make notes to put on files that I am waiting on so that when I pull them again, I’ll remember what was going on. If I can work part A of a file and not part B, when part B comes due, I will ask someone that can work on it. I don’t just leave it sitting around for someone to happen upon. Duh!!! Apparently most people don’t do this.
People come and get files off my desk and don’t tell me and never bring them back. How am I supposed to know they are missing? I’m helping others so these files aren’t even in my caseload to begin with. There’s no way to know I ever had them. They work on one part and then just let the other part sit, I guess they think someone will just decide to look through their files for stuff that’s due. Hello!!! It’s your caseload!!!! If you notice something is due and you can’t do it, why don’t you mention it to someone that can?
Anyhoo… I should be getting my caseload by next Friday and I should be able to start working it by the first of June. Then I will control my files. I will organize them and put stuff where it goes so that next year when it renews, I will be able to find it. Yay!!!! It’s a good thing I’m getting this caseload from a pretty good worker. Well, I think she’s a good worker. We’ll see once I start going through the files.

That would drive me bonkers!!! Taking stuff off my desk, not telling me, and never bringing it back.....what the what??!!! I, like you, am WAY too organized for that....it would send me into the looney bin!
Me too JR!!!! We live on post it notes over here. We have figured out who's writing fits who and we can pick up a file at any time and know what's been done, needs to be done, etc. I don't know what I'd do if we all weren't as anal as the other!!!
