It's Done!

Well, it’s done. The deposit has been put down on the house. Yay!! And unless the owner finds something wrong with our application, we’re in. I don’t know what he would find wrong with us, but I am paranoid, so I’ll be on edge until he gives us the final OK.

So now we are moving in about 45 days. May 30th. Whew hoo!!! This weekend Hubby is getting a trailer and his brother is coming over to help clean out the basement. We have a bunch of junk down there. It needs to be packed appropriately and some stuff trashed. We have several furniture items that we are getting rid of because they are junk and I have no idea why I’ve kept them this long. It’s just a matter of going through all that mess.

I’m going to start taking things off the walls so they are ready for Hubby to patch. I might even start taking down curtains. We have mini-blinds to shield us from prying eyes. And honestly, I would rather be packed up early than I would be running around at the last minute and staying up half the night trying to get packed up.

I am so excited!!! I can’t wait to get into our new place!!! And as soon as I can, I will take pics. Yay!!!!!!
