Sweetheart Banquet

The Sweetheart Banquet was tonight at church. It was a lot of fun. We ate some food and played some games. Hubby and I didn't win any.

We played "The Newlywed Game". We were probably the newest wed even though we've been married over a year. Some of the others played have kids our age, so needless to say, they've been together for a while. The questions were a little tough. We only got a few right. I thought they would be a little easier and maybe funny, but oh well.

Then we played a game where the husband ate 2 crackers and then whistled a tune. The wife had to guess what they were whistling. Well, my hubby ate his crackers and whistled his tune, but before I could guess, someone else's wife guessed for my husband. And they gave her the gift card. Well, poo on that. I am very competitive, even with this church game, so I was a little miffed. Oh well, I mustn't be like that.

Here is me in my new outfit. I think I look like a goofball. I look like a pirate or something!!! And I've got my arms held out like penguin flippers. All I need is a pirate hat on my head. Oh no!!
