Tonight the girls finally got together for dinner to exchange Christmas gifts. Only a few weeks AFTER Christmas. We went to our favorite Japanese restaurant. Yea!! They come to your table to cook. We usually get stuck with the “white guy” for our chef. A white guy working at a Japanese restaurant does nothing for the atmosphere. But not this time. We had a great chef. The meal was delicious!!! I ate so much rice!!!
Now listen to this. Hubby picked up the gift bags when we left the house. There should have been 3 bags. One for Pink Polo and 2 for Sweet Baby Girl. He only picked up 2 of them. PP got her gift but SBG only got the ornament I bought for her. How embarrassing. But she was so good about it. She opened the ornament and said thanks as if that’s all I got her. Then I told her there was more, but she couldn’t find it. So I took the bag and searched through it like some sort of mad woman. I actually stuck my head under the table looking in case it had fallen out. But alas, it was in the bag at home. Duh!!!
And as I told PP when I first noticed her purple cowboy boots, I must comment on them. At first I thought they were some sort of purple Doc Martens, so I told her to pull up her pant leg. (Keep in mind that me ordering her to lift up the pant leg is taking place as we get up from the table in the middle of the restaurant.) They are purple and cream colored cowboy boots. They remind me of the ones below, only cream instead of black. PP, of all my friends, only you could wear these. I could not pull it off. And like you said, if you could have found them in pink, you certainly would be rocking them too!! So I thought I would include a picture of some pink ones to make you jealous!!! I expect to see you in the these soon!!!
