My Hair Again
Anyhoo… the point of this story…
As I’m walking into work this morning, I have a co-worker tell me that my hair looks really good. Then she asks if I had it cut and colored.
Do what? Hello, look at the inch of dark roots dangling out of my scalp!!! Does that look recently colored? Um, no.
I told her, no, no cut or color recently. Then she says, Oh, you must have just styled it this morning.
Again, no. I just dried it like normal. It doesn’t look any different today than any other day. NO CHANGE!! And for you to say that insinuates that you don't think I "style" my hair on a regular basis. And I think that's kind of bold to say to me.
What’s up with these people?
Oh, wait a minute. This same hair person is the same person that had issues with my earrings.
Why can’t these people just bask in my beauty and be done with it?

Hair
The more I look at this picture, the worse it gets. I mean really. I can't stop staring. It’s like a train wreck. You don’t want to keep looking, but you can’t help it.
First let me say that from this angle I look like I’m losing my hair. You can clearly see my scalp in my part. Is that normal? Seriously, is it?
And the color… what’s up with that? It looks orange or something. Now I did take this with my cell phone, but I don’t think that had too much to do with it. It was supposed to be blonde.
Now I’m wondering, does it look as bad from the front as it does from the top? I sure hope not. When I look in the mirror it doesn’t seem like it does. I’m too scared to take a picture of myself from the front for fear of what it will look like.
I really think I need professional help.

Lunch
I just hope the brain freeze does not effect my ability to interview this person.
Oh and I'm hiding the humongous, gigantic Rt 44 cup behind my desk.

Weekend!!
Oh, and there’s a flea market at the fair grounds on Saturday too. I will put on my blinders and head straight for the kettle corn. They sell a bag that’s about 3 feet long. Stuffed full of delicious kettle corn. Once I’ve got my hands on that, all will be right with the world. I feel like a fool carrying that gigantic bag out of the place, especially eating as I go, but what can I do? I must have it. Plus, I’m sure it’s very good for a pregnant woman. It’s made of corn after all. That’s a vegetable.
Nursery
Hubby has even offered to paint the room. I can't believe it. Of course, whether that actually happens or not remains to be seen. Still, nice thought.
Now we just need to get a crib and dresser. Oh and a bassinet. And probably some other things I can’t think of right now. Then we’ll be good to go. Only 3 months left. It seems like a long time, but the past few months have really flown by.
Once I get the room together, I’ll take pictures. That is assuming that the room is together before the baby takes up residence there.

The Hills are Alive with the Sound of Moo-sic
Maybe these 2 got a good look at me still in my nightgown.
This is how I feel. You can't even get comfortable, can you? I feel your my pain, my dear.
I see you looking at me. What are you looking at? Never seen a nightgown before? So what if it's 10-ish. I've been working around the house. At least I'm not just laying around like you...
